A hand- painted version of the Garden HC logo—formerly known as Garden of Eat’n Vegan Café. Inside the logo is an image of the founder of the Garden—the late Zephrin Mongroo. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his work at the Garden.

Garden of Eat’n was the first vegan restaurant to exist in Western Massachusetts. It served as a space for eating delicious food and hub for educating people of significance of making healthy lifestyle changes. The Garden brick-and-mortar space is no longer operating but remains a model for cultivating community for the city of Springfield.
